RPG Nights are a recurring free event where GMs and Players meet to play in TTRPG "one-shots" lasting around 4 hours each.
The event is FREE! There is zero cover charge for running or playing at RPG Nights.
No experience needed! RPG Nights are a fantastic place to play in a TTRPG for the first time or even to run a session for the first time as a GM.
RPG Nights are held the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month at Faklandia Brewpub in St. Francis.
On Wednesday, seating and character creation starts at 6:00 pm with the sessions themselves starting at 6:30 pm. Please plan to arrive in this window, especially if running a game.
Game length is determined by the GM, with a hard cut-off of 10:00 pm when Faklandia itself closes. Games typically run until between 9:00 pm and 10:00 pm.
We understand that life happens. If a player, or especially a GM, can’t attend, we ask that you message a member of the RPG Night team as soon as possible. For a player, this allows us to possibly give another player their first choice. For a GM, this will give us time to reassign your players to other games.
Our priority is to ensure as many Players and GMs are able to enjoy RPG Nights as possible. Since games have a minimum and maximum number of players needed in order to run, you may not be seated at your first choice. Additionally, groups signing up together may be seated separately.
We give game placement priority based on when players signed up using the google form. To increase the likelihood that you’re seated at your first choice, signing up as soon as possible is recommended.
Players are welcome to register up until 5:00pm on the day of the event. Even without registration, walk-ins may be seated dependent on open availability. Priority will always be given to preregistered attendees.
Please plan to attend for the entire length of the game you are placed at. As stated above, this is usually between 9 and 10 pm.
Although we strive to ensure each game has enough players to meet the GM’s desired minimum and maximum, we are unable to predict nor guarantee how many players will be seated at each table. Please be flexible in your session design to account for a variable number of players.
Due to needing to ensure all players have a game to play at, if a GM does not arrive by 6:25 pm, then their players will be assigned to different tables. GMs that still wish to arrive after this time may be seated as a player at another game; permitting availability.
